ABOUT THE BRAND

Retykle is Asia’s first online consignment platform for buying and selling luxury secondhand children’s fashion. They take all of the hassle out of resale. It is the most convenient way to clean out your kids’ closets, earn cash back and buy designer childrenswear at up to 90% off. They carry over 1000 brands on the site including all of your favourites from across the globe such as Jacadi, Bonpoint, Petit Bateau, Burberry and Ralph Lauren.

 

WHY THEY’RE CONSCIOUS

100% of the clothes sent to Retykle find a new home whether they are sold on their platform to a new family or received by someone less fortunate through one of their charity partners. They keep everything in the cycle. All packaging is made from recycled kraft paper and they run a packaging recycling program whereby they accept used packaging back, stamp it with a recycled date and send it out with new orders.

 

WHAT’S THEIR FIGHT 

PROTECT THE PLANET: Reusing and Repurposing luxury goods with their online second-hand marketplace. They do not use plastic in their packaging.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE: They launch a monthly Charity Closet initiative whereby 100% of the proceeds of to their donor’s charity of choice.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER  

Sarah Garner started Retykle in 2016 to make buying and re-selling great quality baby and kid’s clothing as convenient and as stylish as buying new. Retykle helps meet price and eco conscious needs without sacrificing style or quality. She worked in luxury fashion for over ten years at high end establishments including Lane Crawford, LVMH, Richemont Group and Holt Renfrew. She knows first-hand how many high quality items often sit in closets with their tags still on or barely worn waiting to find a new home. Retykle allows sellers to turn idle kids clothes into cash without wasting any of their precious time and creating value (not to mention closet space) for themselves and for another family.
