ABOUT THE BRAND
Mira is a sustainable and conscious skincare brand offering artisan soaps and skincare products that are handcrafted in Singapore in small batches. All their products are formulated using 100% natural ingredients and are free of harmful chemicals, parabens or preservatives. They use powdered herbs, clays, plant-based essential oils to add colour and add fragrance to our products.

Be kind to your skin and the planet! Their goal is to firstly, create more zero waste natural skincare products like soap bars, lotion bars. And secondly, to educate the society to make the switch to a sustainable skincare routine.
WHY THEY’RE CONSCIOUS
Aside from working towards zero waste skincare products, all their existing products are thoughtfully crafted. They have eliminated ingredients that are environmentally unfriendly, harmful to the skin, and are incredibly transparent about it too. Not only that, they lovingly make their artisan soaps – locally!
WHAT’S THEIR FIGHTÂ
PROTECT THE PLANET: MIRA has strong environmental values – they use no palm oil in their products, and their product line includes many vegan and zero waste products like soap bars, lotion bars and vegan lip balm. Specifically, they colour their artisanal soaps with only natural plant or clay-based colourants. And they scent them with natural plant-based essential oils. Even better – they package their products without plastic; only using jute or kraft paper bags.
WELL-FOR-YOUR-BEING: MIRA makes products with the choicest ingredients, luxurious butters and oils. They procure their supplies from their native source, to be as authentic as possible. Secondly, their shea and cocoa butter are from Africa, and their kokum butter from India. Last but not least, their essential oils are also of the highest quality and certified therapeutic.
CRYSTAL CLEAR: MIRA values transparency – when they say “all natural”, they mean it. No caveats. Which also means they put in the effort to list ingredients on their website and on the product.PRO ANIMAL LIFE: All MIRA products are cruelty-free.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Nupur Khemka is the founder of MIRA, a sustainable and conscious enterprise that offers handcrafted soaps and skincare products in Singapore. An MBA by training, banker for 8 years and mother of 2 young kids, she found passion in formulating natural skincare and took the plunge into entrepreneurship 6 months back. Her mission is to provide a sustainable alternative to those who wish to minimize the use of artificial substances in their usage of daily skincare products.
