ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Raye’s journey to bring awareness to sustainable fashion began when he realised that clothes were being thrown away as fast as they were made. Upon realizing the true cost of fashion, Raye co-founded Connected Threads Asia, a for-purpose organisation for sustainable fashion. As an alternative, he also founded PeyaR, a fashion label that upcycles pre-consumer textile waste. Raye, hopes that in the near future the movement will be self-sustained by all stakeholders in the fashion industry.
