FRIDAY, 30th September

Friday’s special and unique: after a first successful edition, The Conscious Leaders BootCamp in partnership with ethiwork is back for its 2nd round on September 30th, 2022, around the theme of Circularity. The event will bring together decision makers and managers from innovations, sustainability, marketing, media and communication departments, all those who are building the future of companies today.

1. Introduction to the Conscious Leaders Bootcamp | 12:00-12:15 (France Time)

Warm up by tuning in for a 15-minute introduction by our very own Co-Founder of Green Is The New Black, Paula Miquelis, and Céline Dassonville, CEO of Ethiwork, an impact studio dedicated to foster positive environmental and social changes.

2. Keynote: Leadership & Consciousness, the power of intention? | 12:15-12:30 (FR)

First up is a keynote speech by Gregory Pouy, founder & host of Vlan! Podcast and co-founder of Plink Podcast, on linking up spirituality and leadership to inspire leaders of tomorrow to be part of the change while being conscious of their thoughts, intentions and actions towards the planet.

3. Circular era : Can circularity save us? |  12:30-13:30 (FR)

From the traditional “Take Make Use and Waste” system, the current social and environmental crisis is challenging consumerist societies and calling for a reconsideration of the linear system. For some years now, circularity has been seen and displayed as the messiah, as the magic solution, to the current problems we are facing.

In front of a transformation that is too slow and planetary limits that are being crossed one by one, the solution cannot be one, cannot be unique. The current issues are systemic, interconnected and intersectional. How can we apprehend this new frame of reference until we discover, perhaps, its physical limits? What, for instance, are the limits of recycling and opportunities to change the system?

We will dive deep into these questions with Laetitia Vasseur – co-founder & director of HOP, Emma Carré – from Pour un Réveil Écologique, Franck Aggeri – co-director of the Mines Urbaines Chaire, Caroline Neyron – managing director of the Mouvement Impact France, and Sara Simmonds from Innovatrice conscious.

4. Deep dive into Fashion | 15:00-16:15 (FR)

The fashion industry is now aware of its impact on the planet, on biodiversity and on people. The fashion industry knows that it needs to change its entire supply chain: sourcing, production, transport and move towards greater sustainability and traceability. In addition, business model changes are increasingly necessary and expected by the sector and customers.

To achieve this, brands and groups are working with new stakeholders, new suppliers, some replacing old ones, others adding to an already long list. How do brands and groups deal with a million suppliers? How do brands and groups manage to work with this new network of partners?

Speakers include: Maxime Delavallée – president of Fédération de la Mode Circulaire, Joséphine Riemens – sustainability project manager within the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), Pétronille Ricard – sustainable projects manager at Etam Group, Sophie Pignères – founder of weturn, Christine Goulay – founder of Sustainabelle Consulting and previous Global Director of PANGAIA, Damien Pommeret – regional manager for Western Europe at the The Woolmark Company, and Laure Betsch – Fairly Made.

Will brands and groups be able to really change their business model? And are they really willing to? Come through!

5. How do media contribute to a virtuous circularity of information? with Quota Climat | 17:00-18:15 (FR)

Every day, millions of people consume news, read the press, watch TV news and listen to the radio. These people are students, employees, teachers, business leaders, artists or politicians. They talk to each other about the news, they share their points of view, they are directly or indirectly influenced in their private and professional choices. In the light of the ecological emergency, media treatment and editorial choices represent major challenges for our democracy. By informing people and shaping public opinion, we will see how the media contributes to a certain circularity of information between public and private actors and constitutes a crucial intermediary in our ecological transition.

We’ll get to hear from a carefully curated panel: Sebastian Marx – comedian, Quentin Perrier – head of studies for the High Climate Council and president of Expertises Climat, Magali Payen – director general at Newtopia, Adam Forrai – general affairs manager at Le Lierre and chief editor at La Gazette du Carbone, Sophie Roland – investigative journalist and member of the Solutions journalism network, Céline Puff Ardichvili – CEO and partner of Look Sharp, co-founder of the blog L’entreprise Contributive, and co-author of “L’Entreprise contributive, reconciling the business world and planetary boundaries.”

Saturday & Sunday, 1st & 2nd October

The rest of the weekend is full of intentionality, wellness and spirituality. After Saturday’s keynote speech by Sara Simmonds, Conscious Innovator, on Energy, Money and Business (12:30-13:00), we’ll unpack Pyscho-spirituality as a remedy for eco-anxiety and a resource for eco-warriors (12:00-14:00) with Pierre Moniz-Barreto, Académie des Intelligences Humaines & Juliette Allais, Author & Psychotherapist. Right after, and relatedly, more on How can you align with your life mission? A panel with Elya Hasson, idohealing.com & Marion Seclin, Screenwriter & Actor & Romain Dian, Entrepreneur & Thomas Amiard, Therapist & Isabelle Layer, Journalist.

(14:10) – Clémence Landeau, Smmmile & Rebecca Cappelli, Réalisatrice & Arnaud Brunois, Ecopel & Muriel Amal, One Voice & Emma Hakansson, Fashion Justice Collective. And how can we use Tech and Web.3 for Good? (15:30) – buckle up for a nuanced conversation with Victor Tamer, BeInCrypto & Camille Guitteau, Bye Bye Plastic & Alejandra De Brunner, Ethos & Ariane Lambropoulos, YouWho.

We’ve set up two exciting conversations on plastics – the first is a keynote on The disappointment of plastic recycling (16:30) by Rosalie Mann, No More Plastic. And the second is a discussion between Audrey Tcherkoff, Women’s Forum & Rosalie Mann, No More Plastic, on Why are women more affected by microplastics? (16:45). We’re finally closing the weekend with a stellar lineup to share what Storytelling and Conscious Brands (17:00) mean to our panelists: with Liv Montuori, Livable Studio & Caroline Dumont, Ethichunt & Ségolène Giraudier, Panty’s & Katia Sanchez, Designer & Jean Lorcy, Atelier Populaire.
