ABOUT THE FOUNDER

German-born, British-raised designer Christina graduated with a BA (Hons) in Contour Fashion and created her Final Year Collection crystallized in 8,000 Swarovski crystals. She later trained in Silversmith after developing a fascination for crystals and gemstones and founded Kookii B in 2013. 

The boutique jewellery label encapsulates the designer’s feminine, effortless-chic and Bohemian luxe style and inspired island living. The designer handcrafts most of the collections individually and sources mindfully from reputable suppliers, continually working to reduce the use of single-use materials in both production and end-consumer packaging. The brand is passionate about educating customers to choose better, creating affordable, quality jewellery over cheaper, throwaway fashion jewellery that lasts a mere few wears. Only using natural gemstones, 14k gold-filled, vermeil (gold over silver) and solid gold ensures that their jewellery will last for years to come and live up to their purpose as ‘everyday jewellery’.

Christina is passionate about living a more sustainable lifestyle and encourages customers to do the same by offering a wide range of eco-friendly products at Ohemia, a Bohemian Fashion & Lifestyle store in Hong Kong she co-founded in 2018. Ohemia is also Kookii B’s first flagship store.
