French entrepreneur Pierre-Emmanuel Saint-Esprit is a dedicated advocate for the circular economy. While studying at ESSEC Business School at just 22, he co-founded ZACK, a pioneering startup tackling waste by recycling, repairing, and reselling electronic products, giving them a valuable second life. This impactful vision led to ZACK’s acquisition by the Manutan Group in February 2022, where Pierre-Emmanuel now serves as the Circular Economy Director, driving sustainability initiatives at a larger scale.
His commitment extends beyond the corporate world. Pierre-Emmanuel is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Global Circular Economy Chair at his alma mater, ESSEC Business School, nurturing future leaders in the field. Furthermore, he presides over the think-tank EC2027 – A 5-Year Term for the Circular Economy, actively shaping policy and promoting the transition towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient future.
