There’s a glimmer of hope for our oceans. On June 10th, during the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice, France, eleven countries came together to sign the world’s first global commitment to protect climate-resilient coral reefs.

While many of us are diligently focusing on small, impactful actions like using reusable straws and participating in beach cleanups, a far larger, silent power struggle is unfolding in the depths of our oceans, demanding immediate global attention.
