For her work rescuing produce and preventing food waste
Judee Tan, local actress/comedian/host, famed for her comedic turn in “The Noose” as Kim Bong Cha and other well-loved characters such as Dr Teo Chew Moi and Ivory Low IQ. Always eco-conscious at heart, she felt the urge to take action when she saw documentaries on the insane amounts of food wasted globally and initiated a food waste rescue movement in Singapore: SG Food Rescue. While not involved in the day to day operations, Judee serves as a consultant with the initiative, and is keen to explore and engage more advocacy and promotion of eco-living, awareness and consciousness.
