Anushka is a passionate and ambitious entrepreneur, known for her role as CEO and Co-founder of Breer, a Hong Kong-based startup that upcycles surplus bread from bakeries and restaurants to brew craft beer. As a polyglot fluent in five languages, including Cantonese and Mandarin, Anushka’s diverse cultural background and communication skills have played a key role in her leadership and business acumen.

With a degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Anushka combines her technical expertise with her entrepreneurial vision to address both food waste and sustainability through Breer. She believes in using her platform to inspire positive change and is passionate about empowering others, particularly women, to make a meaningful impact in their communities.

Anushka’s work in promoting sustainability and gender empowerment has earned her several prestigious accolades. She was awarded the SCMP Student of the Year Award, recognized as one of the Indians of the World Award 2023 at the House of Lords in the UK, and named Young Achiever of the Year by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 2021. Her entrepreneurial achievements have also placed her on the Tatler Gen T Honoree list and earned her a spot on the coveted Forbes 30 Under 30 List in 2023.
