Carla is the Founder of CHOMP, Hong Kong’s award-winning app that combats food waste by connecting F&B businesses with eco-conscious consumers. Growing up between Hong Kong and Switzerland, she developed a deep connection to nature and launched CHOMP in 2021 to address food waste and promote sustainability.
CHOMP allows customers to purchase discounted meal boxes of unsold food from restaurants and cafes. Since its launch, the app has saved over 100,000 kilograms of edible food from landfills and partnered with 250+ establishments, including Maxim’s and Shangri-La.
Carla’s innovative work has earned her recognition on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and as a Tatler Gen T honoree. She continues to raise awareness about food waste and its environmental impact, demonstrating how technology can drive lasting positive change.
