A Festival For Global Healing: The Conscious Festival is bigger than ever for its 8th Edition

After seven-months, The Conscious Festival is BACK! And this time, we’re bigger than ever. This year, The Conscious Festival joins forces with i Light Singapore to craft an event that champions global healing and mindful leadership. We’re also back for TWO weekends! So lock in the dates – 31 May to 2 June & 7 to 9 June, and a special event on 21 June – read on for more information.

Green Is The New Black’s annual Conscious Festival is a multifaceted experience. It’s a mix of serious reflection and lively fun, a combination of learning and entertainment, a space where imagination meets sustainability. The event covers a broad spectrum—from fashion and beauty to lifestyle, food, finance, transportation, energy, and travel.

What ties everything together? We believe it’s the sense of community that emerges from it all.

When you wrap up your time at The Conscious Festival x i Light Singapore 2024, you might find you’ve bonded with someone whose views are light years from your own, discovering a surprising new perspective in the process. Or perhaps you’ll have found a way to transform your climate pledge into meaningful action. Maybe you’ll leave with a head full of questions that our platforms will help you explore. Whether you’re just beginning your sustainability journey or have been on this path for years, we hope this festival inspires, surprises, and transforms you in ways you didn’t expect.

Last year, we promised to go big, but for our eighth edition, we’re going even bigger. This time, we’re holding events over TWO weekends in Singapore and teaming up with i Light Singapore, Asia’s leading sustainable light festival.

Why are we doing this?

Green Is The New Black CEO Sean Lee Davies shares, “After successfully relaunching The Conscious Festival last year, we’re very excited to be collaborating with i Light Singapore this year to bring more awe and wonder to a wider audience in SG, and solidify The Conscious Festival as the premier sustainability and wellness festival in the city. Singapore has the potential to lead the world in sustainability and conscious living, leveraging its progressive urban planning and strong commitment to environmental consciousness. Through fostering awareness and mindfulness in its citizens, combined with innovative green initiatives, Singapore can exemplify how a multi-cultural society can thrive while respecting the planet’s limited resources.”

Jason Chen, Festival Director of i Light Singapore 2024 and Director (Place Management) of the Urban Redevelopment Authority shares, “We share The Conscious Festival’s vision to empower individuals to take action for a more sustainable future. In the milestone 10th edition of i Light Singapore this year, we are happy to partner them and include their diverse and insightful offerings in our programme line-up. We are confident that this partnership will elevate the festival experience, remind visitors of the importance of sustainable living and inspire them to become better stewards of the environment.”

This edition of The Conscious Festival x i Light Singapore is hosted at various locations at Marina Bay. The area will be turned into a cosmic playground over the two weekends.

The Conscious Festival x i Light Singapore endeavours to empower the greater community to take positive actions to leave the world a better place while connecting with ourselves, others and Mother Nature.

For centuries, light has symbolised enlightenment, awakening, and spiritual growth. It’s more than just a visual experience; it’s something that resonates with our deepest emotions and connects us to the essence of existence. The Conscious Festival x i Light Singapore invites you to immerse yourself in captivating art installations, engaging talks, hands-on workshops, live music, and sustainable plant-based food. Join us as we explore the realms of consciousness and awaken to a broader perspective, inspiring meaningful action.

Set in an urban landscape, this experiential festival explores the future of humanity through the lenses of wellness, leadership, technology, and spirituality. Its mission is to cultivate global healing, promote conscious leadership, and build a community devoted to preserving life and protecting our environment for generations to come.

What can I expect

While science offers the technology to address climate change, humanity’s collective consciousness has yet to fully embrace it. The Conscious Festival x i Light Singapore aims to spark that shift in mindset, fostering a sustainable way of life that reaffirms our inherent connections—to each other and to the planet that sustains us. Did we mention we’re gamified again this year? 👀
