Maggie Lee currently leads the Market Transformation effort in Singapore for WWF. After working in the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industry in moguls such as Aeon Group, Nestle and P&G, Maggie has been keen on creating sustainable solutions for Asia. With experience from Hong Kong, Canada, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore, she currently manages the secretariat for the Southeast Asia Alliance for Sustainable Palm Oil, Responsible Seafood Group and is consulted for cross-sector, multinational efforts on sustainable businesses. Maggie speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and French. She has spoken in over 30 panels in the last couple of years about the focuses of her work ā€“ ā€œsustainable procurement of conflict resourcesā€, such as palm oil, plastic and seafood, ā€œresponsible consumptionā€ at hotels and of food, ā€œmarket transformationā€ for new heights of industry-wide corporate sustainability. Maggie also has a profound interest in empirical research and has recently published one journal article on NGO-corporate alliances.
