Still finishing all your Valentine’s Day chocolates? Yum! Too bad not everything about the actual chocolate production isn’t so yum. The rapid production of cacao beansthe thing used to make these delicious treatshas the potential to create serious environmental problems such as soil and air pollution.

Great Britain is off to war.. war with plastic. No longer will the Royals be sipping through plastic disposable straws, bottles or containers. Was all of this sparked by Blue Ocean II? And what else will the Royal Houses be doing to go green?

3. Vodka and nudity is a winning combination in Absolut’s new “Nothing to Hide” campaign

Absolut Vodka has quite literally gone balls-out for its latest campaign geared towards proving how transparent the distillery is in its vodka-making process. It’s always fun to see employees get completely naked in front of camera and dance around in wheat fields all in the name of transparency and sustainability. From the wheat they grow to the recycled glass for their bottles, it is uniquely transparent at every stage.

4. How smart is Singapore at recycling e-waste?
Only 4 in 10 Singaporeans know how to recycle e-waste. Yup, 4! Our little red dot produces 60,000 tonnes every year and we only recycle about 6% of that. So what are we gonna do about it? Get educated of course.

5. Clean meat is the future of meat. 
Richard Branson says that killing animals for food will be a thing of the past and thinks that in 30 years we will look back and be shocked at what was accepted. He’s investing in Memphis Meats who are cooking up a way to produce real meat from animal cells. Think less water and land usage, a huge drop in CO2 emissions and healthier meat.

6. 7-Eleven adds cold-pressed juices to private brand line
These new juices are USDA-certified organic; cold-pressed certified fair trade; non-GMO Project verified; and 100-percent fruit juice blend or vegetable and fruit juice blend. Don’t get too excited yet, they’re only available in North America. To 7-Eleven: Asia needs them cold-pressed organic juices too!

7.  TV Networks Did A Really Crap Job Reporting On Climate Change Last Year

Last year, the US networks undercovered or ignored the ways that climate change had real-life impacts on people, the economy, national security, and the whole year’s extreme weather events that killed hundreds of Americans, displaced hundreds of thousands more, and cost the economy in excess of $300 billion.

8. Imagine Amazon minus all that plastic. Alibaba could lead the way.
Plastic – the modern day plague. Hong Kong goes through 5.2 million single-use plastic bottles a day! While some plastic has a purpose, let’s get real – most of it we could do without, especially since its clogging up our oceans, landfills and drain systems. 9. India’s forest and tree cover increases by 1% over two years
India ranks eighth out of the top 10 nations reporting the greatest annual net gain in forest area. Definitely a step forward in the right directions cause we all need more trees. However, with 2.51 million deaths in 2015, India has been ranked No. 1 in pollution-related deaths, according to a report by The Lancet Commission on pollution and health. China a close second.
