This January, we are partnering with the awesome EarthFest 2018 to bring you the EarthFest Talks. It’s going to be an incredible 3 power hours of talks to learn how you can be part of the solution and walk away with #LittleGreenSteps you can take to be part of the eco-revolution. SESSION 1) ECO-WARRIOR 101 [11:45AM-12:45PM]
Good planets are hard to find.
In this session we will explore concepts every environmentalist should know, different ‘camps’ of environmentalists and what can and cannot be recycled.
Hear from: Paula Miquelis the Creative Director of Green Is The New Black, Heng Jia Min and Neo Xiaoyun from I’dECO (Yale-NUS College Sustainability Movement), Chris Jensen the Co-Founder of Climate Conversations.
 
SESSION 2) PALM OIL UNEARTHED [1:00PM-2:00PM]
One of the ‘dirtiest’ ingredients on our shelves and how it’s getting clean. 
In this session, we will have a screening of ‘The Haze Fighters of Sungai Tohor’, followed by a panel discussion unearthing palm oil and the haze.
Hear from: Pek ShiBao the Policy Research Analyst (Sustainability) at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, Zhang Wen the Executive Director of PM Haze, Kim Stengert the Director of Communications WWF-SG and Andrew Tjioe the CEO of TungLok Group.
 
SESSION 3) THE PLANT-BASED REVOLUTION [2:15PM-3: 15 PM]
Mother nature, animals and your body will thank you! 
In this session, we will dive into the impact of our food choices have on the planet and on fellow earthlings, food hacks and one man’s quest to have a population of 1 billion vegetarians and vegans.
Hear from: Rebecca Cappelli founder of Let Us Be Heroes, and Vikas Garg founder of abillionVeg.
