For her work creating fair wage opportunities in developing countries to turn trash into high quality fabric.

Brenda is in charge of Asian operations at Thread from making sure their supply chain partners share the same values and  ensuring that all of their good work makes it into product on-time, on-cost with the best quality in the industry. Thread creates fair wage opportunities in developing countries to turn trash into high quality fabric. This is sold to major apparel and footwear brands, creating value for the communities, the environment, brand partners and the company itself. This works nicely with her background as it combines her experience of working at ground zero in manufacturing as well as managing a multi-million dollar supply chain. Brenda also leads Supply Chain Operations at Thread International. Integrating community development into her professional life has been a core value throughout her career. She believes that if we all took better care of ourselves and started addressing our needs at the most basic and simple levels, it would translate to a better place for everyone. Less consumerism, fewer fights, more balance.
