Are You Ready To Take The #LittleGreenSteps Pledge?

With only four weeks to go until the Virtual Conscious Festival we wanted to share one of our most ambitious goals yet: getting 10,000 people to commit and pledge to take a #LittleGreenStep.

Preparations for the Virtual Conscious Festival are well underway. Speakers are lined up, workshops are planned, and our hopin platform is looking particularly snazzy. If you haven’t got a ticket yet, snap one up here before we sell out. As we count down the days until the official launch on June 12, there is one thing we can all start thinking about now.

#LittleGreenSteps

If you’ve been following us for a while you’ll know we’re always banging on about taking #LittleGreenSteps. By that, we mean making small, continuous eco-friendly adjustments to your everyday life. It could be anything from deciding to ditch disposables or eating less meat, to supporting slow fashion brands, or cycling more instead of taking taxis. All of these seemingly small adjustments collectively make a difference and will ensure you’re living a more conscious, eco-friendly lifestyle.

Why does it matter?

It matters because all of these micro individual actions add up to macro systemic change. For real. And yes, there’s even science to prove it. The United Nations Anatomy of Action report unequivocally backs this up. We know that we can’t solve the climate crisis overnight. And we know that sustainability is a journey. So making small, continuous adjustments to our lifestyles is the easiest way to move forward and create real change.

Take the pledge

During the course of the festival, we’ll be encouraging everyone to commit to their next #LittleGreenStep. Take part by visiting our Take Action Now page and making your pledge today (you don’t need to wait until the festival to get involved!). Get your friends and family to sign up too and keep each other accountable to reach your new goals.

The GITNB #LittleGreenStep

We’re walking the talk and our #LittleGreenStep is to plant as many trees as possible. So we’ll be donating a % of Virtual Conscious Festival ticket revenue to plant as many trees as we can with our amazing partner, Eco-Matcher.
