The name “Sharent” is a combination of the words “share” and “rent”. The idea was incepted in 2016 with the vision to enable everyone to reduce wastage by renting and caring for this world that we share and live in. Sharent aims to solve the issue of wastage and overconsumption by promoting a lifestyle of Sharing.

Eric is the CEO & co-founder of Beyond Ownership. Schooled by the school of hard knocks with a heart for the environment, he is responsible for setting the overall strategy and direction of the company. Armed with grit and a can-do attitude, it’s full steam ahead.
Crystal is the CMO & co-founder of Beyond Ownership. Fresh out of Singapore Management University and helming Beyond Ownership’s creative strategy and business development plans, she is never afraid of facing the giants but always curious and striving to learn and experience more by standing on the shoulders of giants.
