Green is the New Black 2017: A sneak peek at our awesome venue, PARKROYAL on PIckering

Share this story:

We couldn’t have wished for a better venue partner for this year’s edition of Green is the New Black. Not only is PARKROYAL on Pickering the perfect festival space, it also aligns with our green ethos and sustainability values. We love its hotel-in-a-garden concept, and we can’t wait to take over this green oasis in the city come October 1st.
Proving that big business and conscious, green practices can work harmoniously, PARKROYAL on Pickering is paving the way for hotels of the future. Even we were impressed by the myriad of sustainability features it boasts!
Our favourite stats? It saves 32.5 Olympic-sized swimming pools through water conservation annually, it uses light, motion, and rain sensors to regulate use of precious resources, a whopping 680 households could be powered by its annual energy savings, and the hotel features an astonishing 15,000 square meters of greenery (yes, really!).
