Awesome, Fun, And Free Things To Do At The Conscious Festival Powered By Holland & Barrett

Browse our beautiful conscious brands in the marketplace, enjoy delicious vegan food and drinks, learn more about the climate crisis, check out all of our arty installations, and get stuck into a ton of cool activities. This year’s festival is bursting with awesome, fun, and free things to do.

The countdown is officially on to this year’s Conscious Festival powered by Holland & Barrett. And if you still need persuading that this is the best way to spend next weekend (2nd – 3rd November), then let us share a little bit more about why this year’s festival is our biggest and baddest yet. We’ve already told you about our life-changing talks, live music, these wonderful workshops, and how The Conscious Festival is conscious. But we’ve got a ton of other cool, free stuff happening that we think you’ll love. Check this lot out.

The Village is brimming with over 100 green and socially conscious brands. Bring your pennies as they’ll prove hard to resist (is it too early to start Christmas shopping?). From jewellery, fashion, and swimwear (think Eden & Elie, Ubu Swimwear, and Just Gaya’s) to homewares, bedding, and skincare (hello Sunday Bedding, Frankskincare, and GreenieGenie), plus a whole lot more.

Don’t forget to make a beeline for some of the awesome brands that make it even easier for you to take #LittleGreenSteps to #LiveMoreConsciously, like the brilliant Stasher, UnPackt, and Bamboo Straw Girl. And pay a visit to the NooTrees and BioHome stall to bag yourself some freebies. The first 50 sign-up on BioHome landing page will receive a free starter kit, and NooTrees have some panda plushies up for grabs.

When you need to refuel, hit up our foodie pop-ups for delicious vegan eats from the likes of The Living Cafe, Urban Bites, Taste of Kult and The Good Burger, and sip on organic wine from TTG Wines and Sparkle, or beer from Crust.

Psssst, the Village is child- and doggy-friendly!

Random learning and other cool stuff

Our edutainment zone is a must-visit. Ever wondered how many household items in the supermarket contain palm oil? Or how much plastic is in the ocean? Or thought about how a plant-based diet could help reduce our carbon footprint and the environment? We’ve teamed up with the likes of WWF, Conservation International, Fashion Revolution, Green Monday, and more, who’ll host a series of games, quizzes, and fashion shows to answer these questions and provide food for thought.

More fun free things to do

Yes, there’s more! Here are a few other highlights to make a beeline for on the day.

Receive a poetic fortune: Visit The Inside Space for a spontaneous one-minute experience of utter silence, curiosity, and wisdom. You’ll walk away with a poem written all about you.

Recycle your old bedding: Bring along your unwanted duvet covers and pillowcases and let Sunday Bedding take them off your hands. They’ll upcycle or donate it to good causes, and give you a 10% discount off your next order.

Free skin consultations: The awesome alche{me} will be on hand dishing out free skin consultations and offering advice on personalised skincare products.

Cycle and shake with Green Curve: the first sustainable fitness boutique in Singapore is hosting bicycle craft-milkshake sessions. Pop along to blend your shake through cycling.

Recycle your coffee grounds: Once you’ve enjoyed your caffeine from Wild Honey at the festival, recycle your coffee grounds at A1 Environment. It’ll take your waste and upcycle it. Intrigued? Swing by to find out more.

Makeup swap with Beauty Uncovered: That time you buy a new lipstick then decide the shade isn’t the one. Bring along any new or lightly used makeup to the Beauty Uncovered booth to swap it for something more your style. Waste not, want not.

Arty cool things: Explore a variety of art installations including 134 dolls made from discarded fabric that will be hanging from South Beach’s trees (representing the 1340 people who died during the Rana Plaza tragedy in 2013). Keep your eyes peeled for funny climate memes dotted around for a spot of light relief, and watch as a giant mural evolves throughout the festival courtesy of Mural Lingo. Plus a whole lot more!

One for the kids: Ethical kids fashion brand The Extra Smile is launching in Singapore at The Conscious Festival. It’s inviting all cool kids to enter its competition to design a T-shirt. The winning design will feature on its next conscious T-shirt collection! Find a child and swing by booth 98 to spread the #fashionrevolution message!
