Fueling the heart through food

For creating the biggest plant-based fast-casual restaurant chain

Christian Mongendre is widely recognised in Hong Kong and beyond as one of the visionaries behind the plant-based movement in Hong Kong. He successfully co-founded and opened well-loved restaurants such as Mana! and subsequently Mana! Raw and Mana! Café. From there, he founded and launched HOME — Eat to Live reclaimed from an old Burger King in Central, Hong Kong. Then his passion for spreading healthy living and eating took him to Portugal, where he created the brand “Juicy Lisboa” before a wider vision emerged. Christian has since developed TREEHOUSE not only as a catalyst for mindful eating and sustainability but as a way to healthfully connect us with one another and this beautiful planet. Pure, healthy, energetic, consciousness-raising food is instilled in every aspect of the menus, restaurants and projects he creates — from eco-friendly design to carefully selected ingredients; this is the healthy living that Christian is known for.

Olivia is a bon vivant with an insatiable appetite for...everything. Upon being horrified at the amount of rubbish she produced in a single day, her journey towards finding a better balance between being extravagant yet sustainable began. Like most obsessions, down the rabbit hole she went and it wasn’t long before she decided to shift her sustainable preachings from Friday nights after too much wine to every day at Green Is The New Black. Olivia is still trying to figure all this ‘the end of the world’ stuff out, so she is keepin’ it real, one super small #LittleGreenStep at a time. Be like Olivia.
