Assaad Razzouk is a Singapore-based Lebanese-British renewable energy entrepreneur and expert, with an impressive portfolio to boot. Chairman and CEO of Sindicatum Renewable Energy, a clean energy company headquartered in Singapore, he’s pushing for the development of renewable energy projects #IRL across Asia, in India, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. Assaad is also the CEO of the Reneum Institute, a Singaporean startup digitising and democraticising renewable energy.
Beyond the companies he’s leading, Assaad also offers up his expertise across various organisations. He’s a board member of ClientEarth, an environmental charity that uses the law to protect people and the environment; and an Advisory Board member of environment-focused media group Eco-Business (also serving on the board of EB Impact, Eco-Business’s non-profit, social impact-focused arm dedicated to providing training and programmes to Asia Pacific’s underserved communities).
But Assaad’s voice is heard not only through his companies, and on the different boards he sits on—he’s also a regular commentator and podcaster on all things… you guessed it, renewable energy. That’s where, we think, he’s most accessible.
